Небольшие наличные деньги, которые организация держит в виде банкнотов или монет для покрытия мелких расходов. Их следует отличать от “наличности”, как обычно называют суммы, вложенные в банки. Сделки, оплачиваемые мелкими деньгами, обычно фиксируются в журнале учета мелких расходов. Его итог в любой момент должен соответствовать сумме мелких денег, имеющихся в организации.
